Yiddish in the Market
The first time my Grandpa felt Jewish
When my grandpa was about three years old, his grandma and he went to the market. His grandma, my great-great grandma, found a crate in the market and told my grandpa to stand on it and speak Yiddish to all the other ladies in the market. She was trying to show off his Yiddish. That was the first time my grandpa felt Jewish
